"HOTEL 43 SAVED OUR ANNIVERSARY! Clean, modern, welcoming and comfortable! We had drinks and a few appetizers at Chandlers next door, fabulous!! We will stay there again. But… We were originally book at Red Lion down the street, it was SOOO GROSS AND DEPLORABLE CONDITIONS."

"We very much liked this old-school hotel. Great location walkable to all of downtown Boise, super nice staff, and a charming place. I’d opt for a 3rd or 4th floor room next time for a little more quiet but the little noise we did hear wasn’t bad, no problem sleeping. We’ll stay here again."

"The house is very cute and the neighborhood and location are very nice. The only problem we had was that the third sleeping space (the loft) was EXTREMELY hot. It was unusable in July, even after the AC in the main room ran for quite a while. We had five people in our party and needed that sleeping space, so had to put one person on the couch. This was not the end of the world, but the listing did not mention anything about this possibility and I probably would not have chosen this property if I had known the room would not be usable. The other small problem we had was that we tried to use the bikes (so nice that they make these available), but one was non- functional whe we got there and one other we tried to use but it was very unsafe (rear wheel extremely loose and wobbly). We had to abandon our ride and walk it back home 3 miles. Three of the 5 bikes worked fine."

"This home exceeds expectations. The location near Hyde Park is wonderful and it is just as pictured. The owners have thought of everything to make guests comfortable. It is a beautifully done renovation that modernizes the kitchen, laundry, & bathroom where it counts most while preserving the historic feel of the home with beautiful yet functional antiques. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the bathroom, while small, was serviceable. Check in/out was easy and communication with the management was excellent. There is a very nice rear deck on the home that makes for very pleasant evening conversations. The artwork is eclectic, some beautiful, some quirky but all interesting. Everything worked well, the house rules are well defined and we look forward to booking again!"
