"We very much enjoyed our stay. We organised this very last minute and Illaria was swift in replying and very helpful indeed throughout our stay. The house is very comfortable and spacious. The village is sweet and the starting point for lovely walks. We ate in good restaurants nearby Orta which is beautiful. Even though we came late October early November the kids even jumped for a chilly dip in the pool. I would recommend a stay here "

"When I asked some Italian friends about the most beautiful lake in Italy, they all mentioned "il Lago d'Orta". We decided to spend a week near the lake and were not disappointed. We liked the ancient villages of Orta San Giulo and Pella, the hikes around Ameno and the stunning views from the top of the Mottarone mountain, as well as the restaurants with great food. "Soggiorno semplicemente perfetto! La casetta molto carina, ben riscaldata e confortevole, la proprietaria gentile e affabile, il giardino curato e molto gradito alla nostra cagnolina! La posizione è molto comoda per passeggiate, pedalate e camminate in montagna, si può raggiungere Chamois a piedi, paesino tranquillo distante pochi minuti a piedi per cui anche per gli acquisti si può dimenticare l'auto per tutta la durata del soggiorno. Torneremo, consigliatissimo! "

"Very nice location. Cool inside and 3 nice terraces. Always a sunny or shadow site. Great big fenced garden (great when you have a dog). Beautiful view over Orta lake. Marina is a very kind owner. Nearby when you need her and surprising us with some vegetables and honey from the garden. Lago Maggiore is also nearby with several nice towns. We rented a boat for Lago Orta, which was very nice"
