"Thanks to Expedia we had great deal for a 2 night stay in the villas away from the main hotel on the seafront overlooking the beautiful bay. Unfortunately the villa my sister was allocated was poky and completely in the shade under a big tree but the friendly helpful Reception staff were able to relocate her 1 villa away from mine. However, we were very disappointed with Breakfast facilities. Given the excellent position of the hotel, we would have expected to have an option to eat outside or at least with a good view but there were no windows. When we arrived for breakfast at 8am, most of the food had been taken by the big coach parties. Almost no fresh fruit and even the tinned fruit was not replaced. The fruit juice was heavily watered down & revolting. It was almost impossible to find spoons & teaspoons. The staff were very unhelpful & some of them quite rude. However, the scrambled eggs were very good & freshly replaced. You do need a taxi (don’t use Rosario he may be friendly but totally ripped us off in his battered old van!) or car to get to the little port where the cafes & restaurants are."

"Excellent service and lovely full breakfast. Great beds! Very clean! Our only disappointment was that you could not bring in your own food or alcohol, even water. Other than that, I would definitely recommend the hotel and the views of the sea were spectacular! Thank you from Ontario, Canada."

"Staff were incredible. We booked the private spa access and treatment and both were great. The spa setup is stunning and so nice to have private access. The room was lovely with a nice balcony view. Comfortable bed and everything you needed. We would definitely stay again. Recommend 100%."
Villa Consiglio - Splendid villa with private swimming pool in the heart of the Mediterranean

"We chose the Villa Consiglio for space, pool and convenient location to access the main sights around the north coast. It did not disappoint.The pool was spacious and clean and the grounds elegantly landscaped with panoramic views towards the sea and the imposing Monte San Calogero. We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful environment.The owners arranged a personal meet and greet in town before guiding us to the villa. This was very welcome as the turn off from the main road is a little tricky when first encountered.The kitchen / dining area was very clean and well equipped. The full size fridges and spacious ice boxes were particularly welcome.We were left a good selection of first day items including fruit, wine, bottled water and an ample supply of coffee pods.Helpful responsive to queries. Carlo’s daily attendance for pool cleaning, rubbish collection and general assistance was fantastic.The check in and check out procedures were quick and easy and relaxed. The electric gates and fencing gave us a good sense of security when away from Villa."

"The hotel is lovely. I was worried after driving through Ficarazzi as the town was a dump but the hotel, cafe and restaurant were all excellent. As was the beach and pool. The rooms we spacious and clean. We have a beautiful sea view"
