Top Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks Hotel Reviews

Lake Louise Inn
8/10 Good
"It’s an older property that is well maintained. Our first request was ignored by the staff, but it was a really busy time. They checked us in a couple hours early which was great. The handsoap was empty and the bathroom was tiny. However, the room was nice and clean and the view was excellent from our window. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. We ate at two of the restaurants and had the same waiter (Matthew). He was incredible and remembered us and my wife’s allergies from the night before. The location is quiet and not far off from Lake Louise or the highway to get to other locations. We would gladly stay here again but after seeing the Fairmont Lake Louise, we would probably fork out the additional money and stay there. The price was reasonable and they even had free mini-golf and s’mores in the evenings."

Banff Park Lodge
8/10 Good
"The hotel was undergoing renovations to the lobby when we stayed, however this did not impact our stay. Clean and tidy hotel with nice size room close to the centre of town and within walking distance of many attractions."

Forest Park Hotel
8/10 Good
"Great location and well-maintained property. The new construction is a hassle but hopefully over soon. Peaceful, at the edge of town, yet 15-20 minutes walk to the town center. Room with modern amenities, but missing a closet!! The hotel will need to increase parking with its new expansion. Courteous and efficient registration. Nice hotel."

Charltons Banff
10/10 Excellent
"Love the bed size. Plenty of pillows. Nice and quiet. Not far from downtown parking available. Great stay. Definite recommend."

Otter Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Incredible property and stay. The rooms were impeccably clean with great amenities. Completely surpassed our expectations. We had beautiful views of the mountains from our room and they were even better from the hot tub. We had a elk walking on the street below that we were able to watch from the hot tub desk. ALL of the staff went above and beyond to be helpful and they were all very friendly. Truly a fantastic stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Lastly, the pour over coffee in the room- y’all… it was the best!"

Rocky Mountain Ski Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"Clean room, nice linens, comfortable bed, and spacious. It looks a little worn from the outside, but the rooms are nice. Good shower pressure and plenty of hot water. Nice area to eat on picnic table and/or barbecue. Staff is friendly and goes out of there to be accommodating. Laundry on site. I was there a total of 6 nights on 2 stays and never heard any noise from other guests or adjoining rooms. Good soundproofing."

Northwinds Hotel Canmore
10/10 Excellent
"This was a great home base near Banff. The hotel was the comfy spot we needed, and we preferred the local surroundings to the busier Banff town."

Rundle Chalets
10/10 Excellent
"This little cabin had everything my husband and I needed for a comfortable stay. We made breakfast every morning using the cook top, toaster and microwave. The cabin came with skillet and cooking utensils as well as plates, glasses and silverware. We kept things cold in the min frig. We prepared a picnic lunch in the cabin and enjoyed eating out every night in Canmore (which I prefer over Banff). Our bed was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was tiny but had plenty of hot water for nice relaxing shower. The cabin was in a great location off Canada 1 between Canmore and Banff. Overall great experience."

Sunshine Mountain Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"The location at a skiing resort on the top of the mountain with rides up to higher locations for the scenic beauty was awesome. Taking the shuttle or gondola up or down from the lodge was a 20 minute ride but was never a problem. They also provided a shuttle to Banff so you didn’t need to worry about parking."
