Gorgeous beachfront views of aquamarine Caribbean waters. Hopelchen Condo 304 is located on Isla Mujeres Bay just 3 miles north of downtown Cancun in the laid back fishing village of Puerto Juarez. We have everything you need for a truly relaxing Mexican vacation in. Hammock sleeping available ;o)

Special rates by the month. Hopelchen is family friendly in a low key, uncrowded way. Perfect beach location if you have business in Cancun. Retirees will also love it here.

Close to Downtown Cancun but far from the city noise and bustle, Hopelchen Condos have private access to the beach and swimming pool. Visit the real mexico. Great restaurants with reasonable prices. Spectacular fresh fish just a short walk away.

Hopelchen Condo is gated and securecwith a 24 hour guard and for those of you with a car rental, you will receive the remote control for the gate and private parking space. Clothes washer in condo. Maid service available $25usd. 4 chairs to relax on. White sugar sand beach. Large oceanside swimming pool and patio. Palapa huts for shade. Please use the pool shower and foot wash to remove sand before leaving the pool area. All have great views and lovely breezes. The ocean is generally calm here on the protected Isla Mujeres Bay. Book tours from ALL Ritmo Resort next door. Isla Contoy is a wonderful day trip to the bird sanctuary and stops for snorkeling. Satellite TV. Free internet acces around pool in office. Drive or taxi 15 minutes to all the best nightlife and nightclubs in Cancun or Hotel Zone.

Relaxing quiet beach home stay

I took a solo vacation to this spot for some R&R, and it was perfect! Very safe gated property with 24 hour security. Private stretch of white sand beach for the residents of the villa. Gorgeous views where you can sip your coffee and watch the sun rise. El Meco ruins are within walking distance as are a couple amazing seafood restaurants. The host was responsive and checked in on me a couple times via text. I hope to return again someday!!

Host was the best

The host Lillia was a very helpful lady, she was there to answer any questions and helped us to get water. She was very friendly and always just a call away. Thankyou, Lillia.The condo was adequate, although a bit rough around the edges. the building was terrible. Dropping to bits on the stairwells. Windows that rattled and banged in the wind. The beach was small, never groomed while the beach next door was groomed every day. The seaweed just piled up or was pushed back into the ocean and then we couldn’t go in. There was no palapa to shelter under. No where outside to sit and eat apart from one small table at the pool. Patios downstairs were all private so we couldn’t use them. It was a long way at least 3 km to buy groceries or for restaurants, when you are self catering, this isn’t convenient and can be expensive to use cabs all of the time. No evening entertainmentWe would recommend the pirate boat trip, Isle of Mujeres, catamaran trip from the marina next to All Ritzmo, cheaper from there. Day pass to All Ritzmo includes 3 meals, drinks, water park and all hotel and beach facilities.We made the best of this month long holiday , but would we go again, No. If Lillia was in some better building/location then we would consider. Puerto Juárez isn’t the place for anyone active or for any evening entertainment.

This was exactly what we wanted. We were on a family vacation and wanted a condo with a kitchen where we could roam as we’d wanted with a kitchen for any time use. Lilia, our hostess were fantastic and very friendly and helpful! The beach in front is clean and quiet. The pool was a great treat for the kids. After a day in the sun the air conditioned condo was a blessing.

I liked the beach that is only down the stairs, we can see fish, stingrays, seahorse. I collected lots is seashells to bring to my home. That was amazing!

Excellent spot for family vacation

We enjoyed the property very much , the two rooms were excellent for my family of 5 . The location had several restaurants close by that we enjoyed . The apartment had a designated parking spot that was guarded . The apartment was clean , had the necessary accessories to make lunch and breakfast .

Wonder first time visit to Cancun

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay! It is not in the hotel zone, but near Ultramar Ferry in Puerto Juarez. Take the ferry to Isla Mujeres...you won't be disappointed. The owner quickly answered all questions we had, gave restaurant recommendations, etc. We enjoyed having a lengthy conversation with her the day we checked out. We would definitely come again. The view from the condo is amazingly beautiful and peaceful ❤️.

One thing I liked about the property that it was a privet/safe area. Room: The room was clean, it had a wonderful view, no noises and was very peaceful. But one thing that I didn't like about it was one of the bathrooms smelt really bad and there were moles around the sink and the exterior part of are condo. Host: Lili was really nice and was so helpful in are stay, and also she is a fast responder. Beach: When we first came to the condo the beach looked really nice and clean but then as are stay goes on their was a lot of seaweed that built each day on the shore of are stay and no one cleaned it up. Also the beach was really small width wise. Overall I would not stay their again I felt like their were better options.

Hopelchen

Pool was out of service the first 2 days of the stay but wasn't that big of an issue. Needed a new showerhead and lightbulb for 1 bathroom, Lilia brought them, and I put them in. Sink in bathroom needs new aerator but we just dealt with it.

Great for the price

Very clean. Air condition works very well keeping the rooms cool. Amazing view. Fully secured. The owner is very friendly and helpfull. Cant ask for more, for the price.

Ocean view! Private beach! Quiet, comfortable, safe, wonderful place to relax with options to do more if you want. My only complaint is the shower head in the master bedroom, it only dribbles. I used the other bathroom for showers. Would definitely return. Liliana is great, she even gave us a ride to Walmart so we could pick up groceries.

Sweet spot in a busy area

After 3 weeks at a resort, the arrival at Hopelchen was like a gated island of tranquility. After making the reservation our host was immediately available over several months. She met us on arrival, and showed us the property. It is a low density condo area. The morning sunrises were stunning, from our third floor perch. The pool we had mostly to ourselves and the beach we shared with 5 or 6 others. The days passed slowly and pleasantly. The week seemed to go by more quickly. Uber transport is best and cheapest to get around, but taxis are available immediately at the front gate. There are 2 very nice restaurants within walking distance- Xtabay and Kulkulcan. And down to mid town is only an Uber away. The best part of this very clean and lovely condo for us was that it was the isolation from mass tourism so prevalent today. It was lovely, safe and well appointed with all the essentials. Bottled water and dispenser were provided as were toilet paper, and beach towels. Questions to Liliya were immediately answered. She was the best. This is a true getaway.

Incredible view

Our host waited for us patiently and upon arrival she was all smiles and very welcoming. Lilia showed us the house and we loved it. It was clean, there were towels and extra beach towels and all the appliances we need. It was very peaceful and we had no issues with people being too loud. I loved it and would highly recommend the place to anyone. Thank You.

Peaceful, Safe Location with Great Views!

Overall it was a great location to get away for some much needed rest & relaxation!! Lilia was great - she was very helpful & responsive. This is a very safe & peaceful location away from the craziness of the hotel zone. I would definitely stay again!

Lovely place - great location

We three friends with my daughter had a little reunion and were very comfortable staying at Lilia's place. The apartment is comfortable, lots of space for 4 people to move around - bedrooms were a nice size - good parking - we enjoyed our swims there and watching the sun rise every morning. The apt is sparsely supplied - you will need to bring everything for cooking (oils and spices) and entertaining (cards and games). We really enjoyed our stay and recommend Lilia's apt.

Nice stay in Cancun area

The host was really nice and great with communication. The property is not near the hotel zone and a car is highly suggested. There was a small beach in front of the property. It did have a lot of seaweed so not the best to hang out at. However, I went snorkeling there a couple of times and there were actually quite a lot of fish there. There is a public beach within walking distance where a lot of locals hang out at. It was a fun beach to go to. I recommend going to the Puerto Juarez Brewery which is about a mile from the condo. I think it's maybe the only micro brewery in the Cancun area. Overall it was a fun stay.

Great price to enjoy Cancun

The apartment was clean and the spaces were accurate with the pictures. I loved the view of the ocean and palm trees from the kitchen, living area and master bedroom - I was REALLY beautiful! I has a good internet service and the beach is right out the back. You can only walk to the left for about 1/4 of a mile but to the right only about 100 meters before it gets 'trashy'. The sand was nice but the water had a lot of algae. If you walk to the left you can walk through the hotel 'All Ritmo' and get in their beach - which is public - and that one is cleaned from algae. The water is very shallow and calm but it was a little too warm for my taste. It is a very good idea to rent a car since the apartment is in the opposite side of town from the 'Zona Hotelera' and there was no condiments or coffee. We did find a great tour when we walked to the left past the hotel. We were able to get a tour on a 'Catamaran' to 'Isla Mujeres' from 10am-5pm with open bar aboard, snorkeler and lunch in the island included. The location is in Puerto Juarez, which is not a pretty area of town and since it is a port, well... it smells... It was all better when we closed the windows and turned on the A/C. If you are planning on using the sofa for your 6th guest, you need to tell her ahead of time to have the sheets. Also install WhatsApp in your phone to communicate better, we needed to ask for trash bags and ran out of toilet paper. Overall it was a great vacation at a very affordable price.
