Canadian Rockies hideaway loft in Canmore, Alberta!

This privately owned one bedroom loft condo with stunning views of the Canadian Rockies is situated on the top floor of the Cougar Lodge (in The Lodges of Canmore). Less than a 10 min. walk downtown, only 8km to Banff Nat. Park, and short drives to Lake Louise & more, this newly remodeled, bright condo features brand new everything (from cookware to the en suite washer and dryer) to make your stay a fantastic one. Perfect for a romantic getaway, friends on vacation, or parents with children.

Recently purchased and redecorated by an American couple who fell in love with Canmore and the Canadian Rockies on their first visit. Canmore is only 8km (5 miles) to the border of Banff National Park and short drives to all the amazing sites of the region (Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, Johnston Canyon, Sunshine Village, Castle Mountain, Sulphur Mountain, the city of Banff and the Icefield Parkway.) This small community boasts some of the most amazing mountain views in the area (Three Sisters, Ha Ling and Grassi Peaks, Mount Rundle etc.) and is far less chaotically crowded than nearby Banff. Dining in Canmore is fantastic as well.

This completely renovated condo is in pristine and immaculate condition with all your needed comforts. Underground carport parking is provided with every stay. A short list of some of the brand new items provided are: gas BBQ grill, convection toaster oven, coffee makers (drip, Keurig pods and French press), washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave, flat screen TV, dvd player, blender, vacuum, ironing board and iron, hair dryer, memory foam mattress, dishes, flatware, pots and pans, all bed linens with extra new blankets and pillows, kitchen utensils from a lemon zester to ice cream scoop. If you need it, it's likely here (and if not - let us know so it can be added!)

Guests can use the pool, multiple spa hot tubs, exercise rooms, parking structure and more at the Lodges of Canmore facility.

While this lodge also functions much like a hotel, many of the condos are privately and permanently owned with residents using the lodge as their primary residence. I am your host - the lodge is not. Guests will get their keys from the front desk and general information about the facilities, but I and a local concierge service are available 24/7 should any issues or special needs arise during your stay. All contact information will be provided after your booking is confirmed.

The host Scott was wonderful, it’s a fantastic place, walking distance to some great coffee and restaurants. Comfy bed! The property management was great as well, extremely helpful with tips for the area. Great communication. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others! Can’t say enough great things about the place!

Scenic views and an excellent stay

We chose Scott's place as a base for Banff National Park and were very happy with the location and the space - it was only about a 30-40 mins drive right to the park and ride, and 10 mins from some great hikes right in Canmore (we did Grassi Lakes and Ha Ling Peak). The space was clean and equipped with more than we would ever use. Dining and waking up to the mountains right on Scott's patio was absolutely awe-inspiring. I'd highly recommend staying here!

Great Getaway Spot

Town of Canmore is a perfect spot to spend a few days. Plenty todo in. A more or take a short Trip to Banff. Condo is very clean and well appointed. Owner provided excellent communication/information prior to our stay. Local cohost/concierge also provided additional communication. Very pleased with overall experience. Location is walkable to everything in Canmore. Would return without hesitation.

It is a very nostalgic themed place. The view was beautiful and it was nice to have the separation of the living area from the bedroom. It was a bit of a drive to Banff and Canmore downtown has a lot to offer.

The best view in town!

We loved our stay here! The view off the balcony was epic. Spent many an hour just chilling on the porch and enjoying the surrounding mountains. The location was very good, too. Canmore is perfect for visiting the park. The apt is perfect for two. We had our 17 yo son with us, which made 3. Just a little tight for 3, but very doable. There is a lot in the apt for cooking and serving food. There is a park pass and even bear spray (in case you don’t want to spend $50 on your own can.) Highly recommended!!!

Awesome condo with awesome views

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in June 2024, and we could not have been happier with the condo. It was very well appointed, clean, easily accessible, quiet, and communication with the owner was easy and prompt. We walked into town several times (20 mins one-way) for shopping and dining, it’s that close. The views of the mountains from the deck are incredible. While we did not use the hottub, pool, or gym, all were available to us. Parking was secure underground. Back to the condo…great cable package, the loft bedroom was nice, the Film Noir decorations are very neat, lots of reading material and games for rainy days (of which we had none), a park pass makes visits to Banff NP very convenient, all the large appliances and dishes were there and worked well for us. Would we rent this unit again? Absolutely!

Spring Break Getaway

The view from the balcony is spectacular - Three Sisters and mountains. Had a charcuterie out there on our first evening. The condo was well-appointed, tastefully decorated and fully equipped. The property manager had the best and most comprehensive communication. Will return and highly recommend to friends.
