"This Gem of an hotel is set in the countryside just 30 mins from loch ness . The owner,Duncan ,gave a real warm welcome on arrival and covered everything i needed to know about my room and facilties of the hotel. The bar has a warm atmosphere and i was able to meet and chat with other guests and share some experiences, again Duncan took an active role in making sure the evening went well. Personally i didnt have an evening meal but i did overhear from other guests and they were very complimentary. Morning breakfast was superb and is served in a sensible time of 7.30 to 9.30 am .Overall i made a good decision with choosing this hotel and would highly recommend you do the same ."

"We called and emailed and so did expedia for a late check in without response. Made us nervous but were able to check in without issue. The property was nice from what we saw. We just slept and left the next morning. The gentlemen checking us in was very helpful with answers to our questions. "

"Very clean and great location. The grounds were nice and a great place for walking around. The complementary basket was great and we used most of the items! It was nice to make homemade pasta and not have to go out to restaurants for 3 meals a day. "

"Stayed here as part of the TGO, quiet, right off the Great Glen Way about 5 minutes walk from the tourist cooridor (canals, shops and food). Large grounds. The bunkhouses are.nice, so are the castle rooms. "

"We arrived to a friendly greeting from the manager who upgraded our room to one of their newly renovated rooms, which was wonderful and appreciated. The room was a great size and had a very comfortable queen bed and a twin off to the side, along the wall. There was direct access to a balcony that looked out over loch ness, with a decent angle view. The bathroom had a sizable shower with rain shower head that was really nice. There was a deep and long bathtub in the bathroom that was really great to soak in. The bathroom mirror was fog free and you could adjust the brightness as needed and could cycle through 3 color temps. All expected amenities were in the room e.g. coffee cups, coffee maker. Everyone at the hotel was very nice and helpful. The service for breakfast and dinner was excellent, and the food and drinks were simply amazing. The set up of the restaurant is great by the front window, where you can sit and look out at the loch. if you are looking for a great experience at a hotel with great staff, excellent food, drinks, rooms and views, this is what you’re looking for."
