It was a quaint little farm - like cottage . Very quiet and wonderful staff.

A unique experience, totally in a good way. They've somehow retrofitted a 14th century building with modern amenities while maintaining its historic charm. Loved our suite! Staff was personable and professional. Great food as well! Little English flower garden in the back. Lovely place!

Wonderful stay! My wife and I, from San Francisco, in company with a cousin from Oceanside, California stayed here about three years ago while visiting my Brother, who lives here. I’m here this week to help him celebrate his birthday. It was a surprise for him so I planned to stay in the hotel for three days, not knowing if I would be able to stay at his house or not. Nice hotel with helpful staff.

We enjoyed the warmth and hospitality of Nikki and Jim. They live on property and are accessible to assist with anything we needed. The bedroom was roomy and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and had a wonderful shower with soft towels. The surrounding area to The School House is picturesque and calming. We would definitely return to Woolavington.

Staff were very accommodating and the overall hotel and restaurant/pub was excellent. Would stay again and would recommend.

Kids really enjoyed the novelty. Was comfortable and clean, we enjoyed a drink of moonshine and some mocktails at the lovely bar.

The location was charming and convenient with safe free parking. The owners/ managers were very nice and catered to our every need.

Our stay at the Royal Clarence Hotel was wonderful! The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and conveniently located to be able to walk to most places!
