"The views couldn’t get any better, even on a cloudy day just sitting on the balcony watching the waves and caught a few whales in the distance! I will certainly be going back!"

"We stayed in an oceanfront room for one night and it was absolutely the best. The location is so beautiful. We had a beautiful sunset and the tide pools were fantastic. Our room was spacious and clean. We even had a visit of an enormous elk at night (he stood in front of our patio doors enjoying the grass). Cannon Beach is a very cute place, ultimate vacation feeling."

"Our building was virtually new, the shower was spacious and the breakfast room gorgeous, clear fir timber frame, construction. The grounds are beautiful, as well. However, the location is residential. Expect to drive to restaurants and shopping."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family spent a week at the amazing Haystack Haven (2nd time/repeat renters) and loved it. The first time our family enjoyed Cannon Beach our kids were 10 and 12 and we made lots of sandcastles and ate lots of taffy. This trip to Hatstack Haven gave our family, kids now 21 and 23, their own space and a perfect landing spot for happy hours and cards on the deck, home cooked meals (even they shopped and cooked!), and comfortable beds for all. We love Haystack Haven, and while it’s nothing fancy it’s absolutely perfection and offers everything you need. Thanks for welcoming us back! We’ll see you again soon to kick off our Sandy flip flops, open the Willamette Pinot and enjoy another sunset over the Rock!"

"We enjoyed our first time at this hotel. Nice location near the beach and stores. It’s affordable but on the smaller side, AC option would be great on a hot day. Swimming pool, hot tub and balcony was great add on amenities."

"We enjoyed the location. Being on the ocean and right downtown was great. Our room was clean and updated. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. We would definitely come back here to The Waves."

"We loved this location! Close to the beach and Mo’s. We discovered new rocks with tons of starfish, mollusks and even a cave without all the crowds at Haystack Rock. The house was comfortable and spaciousand our hosts were fabulous! It is always a treat to stay at Cannon Beach and the price was very reasonable."
