"Great location just blocks away from the city center. We only stayed one night but it was clean, safe, and enjoyable. They had a nice breakfast in the morning. "

"This hotel is in the process of a renovation, it's obvious the new owners are making needed improvements. Had a great stay, so enjoyed the balcony overlooking the Promenade and beach - always something to see during the Summer. Beds were clean and comfortable. Having a kitchenette was very convenient and it was a very spacious room. Fantastic to hear the waves at night and watch the bonfires. The hotel location is fabulous for Seaside. Negatives: Noise - lots of families with young kids. The walls and floors don't muffle active kids from jumping around. The pool was heavily used, so I passed on that. The glass wall on the balcony was distractingly dirty, I cleaned it a few times myself since the seagulls seemed to target it during our stay. Finally, the room had a air freshener/ grandma scent to it which I noticed too often. It's an old hotel that has a lot of great features and is being fixed up. "

"We LOVED our stay! A fireplace in the room, free breakfast, cookies at 3, smoked chowder at 5, pool, hot tub, fitness room and a peaceful river view while being so close to the ocean made for a wonderful getaway! "

"Such a quaint hotel, very convenient to the beach (walk right down!) and to downtown. I highly recommend the Clock Tower suite; it was amazing, the windows to the beach were amazing and waking up to those views was the best!! "

"The room was unexpectedly large and worked well for our 2 night stay!! Doesn't have ANY usb ports and barely adequate outlets if you travel with electronic devices. Fortunately, we bring out own."
