"If you want a peaceful, rural getaway then Casa Foelas is the place for you. The coast is easily accessible as are the mountains and the airport. A car is a must but you don’t need to drive too far to find a beach, dramatic scenery, a Roman ruin or ancient castle. We cooked as a group almost every night and the long table in the kitchen was perfect for all of us to gather around. "Was met with a big smile, an offer for a coffee, and very easy check-in which was welcome after hiking and finishing in the rain. It is wonderfully situated if you love small towns, mountains and lakes. The breakfast right before I checked out was really good and energized me for another hike in Parco Nazionale d'Abruzzo. Would stay here again. Thank you!"
