"Pros: Nähe zu den dortigen Tieren, insbesondere der Haushund, der sich mit unserem Hund sehr gut verstanden hat. Man kann tolle Ausflüge und viele Wanderungen in der Umgebung machen. (z.B. Belchen, Feldberg). Wir wurden vom Gastgeber entsprechend beraten. Zudem gibt es eine gute Gastronomie in der Nähe."

Hotel Spalentor offers a wonderful, well run place to stay in a perfect location for access to the old town or to get to the train station. Old school kind of place wheree they give you a physical key for your room but everything is clean as a whistle.

The hotel was very nice, located in central Basel. The only downside was that it, apparently like other recently renovated hotels, did not have air conditioning (and it was unseasonably hot in Basel.

Wonderful place! Great location- 10 minute walk from train station and 5 from Altstadt and shops, cafes and bars. Has a great garden bar area and dining room. It's Europe, has no a/c like many Europeanhotels- so in the Summer, bring fans and ask for one for your room.

Nice studio apartment in a quiet area of a quiet village. Well stocked with everything you may need and then some. Hosts were available for any questions or needs and live on the ground floor of the property. Great for a business trip, couples stay or small family. Aarau is an adorable old walled city with a river running through it and the hotel is charming, but also completely renovated inside. Staff was super nice. Bottled water and breakfast was included.

Your woman is clean. The window opened towards the mountains. The spa was incredible. The food was wonderful. The staff was excellent if I ever go to bed again I’m going to be sure to stay there. I loved it.
