"This hotel was a great find - but keep in mind that we stayed in the upgraded area, building 3. We did hear people complaining about building 1. Everything was well looked after, the food was good, the grounds are lovely and the pools are terrific. I would definitely return. "

"Property was nice, staff ok. Fairly quiet. Location is super close to the airport which was convenient. Rooms seemed small but acceptable. Bed was very uncomfortable and not good if you have spine or body issues. "

"Excellent service, beautiful views, wonderful food and plenty of activities to keep you busy for days. The staff make this place exceptional. Extremely kid friendly. We were there in high season and it never felt overcrowded. The views though. Breathtaking. Worth every penny!!! "

"Super nice property. Love the hot spring. Go there every day. The compensatory tour is super nice too and learned a lot about the rain forest and the little town. Would recommend it. "

"Booked a “premium suite” and paid a premium price for a suite that has no dedicated shower. The shower is a handheld inside a huge jacuzzi tub with no shower curtain! Your bathing options are to fill and drain an enormous spa size tub or slip & slide on uneven jacuzzi seats spraying water everywhere. The hotel response “you booked a jacuzzi suite”. Apparently not an issue they fail to mention the suite has no shower. The grounds are nice but the rooms and resort are dated and frankly this “premium” suite and tub/shower is a joke. Management called to offer a different room at 8pm on our last night … a but late. Friends traveling in our group had a similarly dated non-premium suite … but at least their unit had a proper shower! This is a 3 star resort at best and if you like a shower be sure to confirm what you’re getting or better yet stay elsewhere."

"Didn’t use the pool. Breakfast was great. The hotel was overbooked and one of our rooms was cancelled last minute. After some pleas on our part the hotel gave us rollaway beds to put in two other rooms we had and free breakfast. "
