lyn Celyn is a large reservoir constructed between 1960 and 1965 in the valley of the River Tryweryn in Gwynedd, Wales. It measures roughly 2.5 miles long by 1 mile wide, and has a maximum depth of 140 ft.

"A cottage packed with comfort, but especially the warm welcome of the owners which gives a personal touch for us. We enjoyed the cosiness of the cottage and the beautifull area. As we like mountainwalks and wanted to have an easy walk in between, the local walks were beautifull aswel. We also had a lovely time there with our friends from Swaledale.
