"A fun and unique experience in Guadeloupe. We enjoyed the Creole style house with a view of the ocean and pool. We generally enjoyed the openness but, as others have said, you should bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper due to the evening noises from bugs, roosters, etc. Bug spray is helpful but the mosquito nets do a great job of keeping bugs away at night. "Great place to stay. Philippe, the host was kind and responsive to our requsts. Even drove halfway around the island to get us coffee filters. Be sure to get a car though, as even though my wife and I did walk to and from the villa into town a couple of times, it is a steep trek! There are no taxis in Drshaies"

"It's a very wonderful house, super good cleaned, full of all the amenities you need for a short o a long stay. It's so spacious and it has very confortable sofas and beds. Bed sheets and towels are double for each room and super cleaned. We find also bathrooms super cleaned with soap and toilet paper included. There is a big terrace with a table and sofas outside to enjoy the garden. There is a parking for 2/3 cars on the street. For sure we will rent again a house with this host. She and her...

"We were lucky to stay in this beautiful home for a whole month and wake up each day to the beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea and the harbor of Deshaies. We loved the big veranda and that is where we spent most of our time. There is always a breeze in the tropics to keep you cool. The house has all the modern convieniences and the bedrooms are quiet and private. There is one shared bath for two of the rooms but the toilet is separate which helps to share. Emily and her Dad were wonderful hosts...

"We enjoyed a very restful vacation at the Villa Ponm Kann 'L in Deshaies. The view was lovely. The house was very clean and well equipped. The covered deck was an added bonus as unfortunately we had rain almost everyday but we were able to be outside with out getting wet. Easy walk to the bakery. We felt very safe and quiet in the neighborhood. A car is required to get groceries and go to the beaches and other activities. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to return."

"Je pense que les choix de location sont principalement dictés par les photos.Quand nous avons recherche une location quelques semaines avant notre départ, il ne restait pas grand chose et au vue des photos, on comprenait pourquoi certains logement n'avait pas été loué.Et puis, nous sommes tombés sur l'appartement de Simon dont les photos ne sont pas forcement avantageuses, ni la décoration, mais laissez moi vous dire que l'appartement est clairement sous coté; c'est très grand, il ne manque...

"Eric met us at property to show us around and settle us in. Property was as described in the listing and we had most things we needed. The apartment is very spacious with all facilities needed. It was great to relax in the pool at the end of the day and the garden is pretty and well maintained. We would stay here again if we returned to Guadeloupe."

"Beautiful house, lots of space (we had 15 family members) pool is great! Loud peepers and frogs at night, especially for the bungalow. Great location. Helpful advice from host. Only downside was lack of house supplies. Bring your own garbage bags, toilet paper, hand soap, laundry detergent and paper towels. Overall, we loved the house and grounds."
