"The host was quick in responding and let us leave our bags. The room was also ready early for us which was a big bonus so we could freshen up. There was plenty at breakfast with freshly cooked croissants and just like the pictures with very good Coffee. The room was very clean and spacious. "

"The hosts were excellent, responsive. The rooms were clean and well appointed and maintained. The included breakfast was fantastic with far more food than we could eat and it was all delicious. My only complaint was the A/C was not working in our room, and it was pretty warm for September. Our friends across the hall said theirs worked great and their room was very comfortable. There is parking and it was safe off the street for a small extra fee, about a 5 minute walk from the property."

"I don't know what organization is grading accommodations with stars in Catania, but this is not a 3-star accommodation... barely a 1-star, if at all. The place is old, dirty and in very poor condition. It needs complete renovation. In addition, the bed has broken springs, the pillows are hard and not really useable and the shower is partly clogged. The room does not look at all as it is shown in the photo. We paid in advance, so we had to stay there, but this place should not be listed in...

"Stayed here for one night after coming down from Taormina as we had a morning flight home from Catania. Christ, it's amazing. Giant jetted tub in the room, high ceilings, Bluetooth speaker. Looks like something from The White Lotus. I cannot imagine what things these rooms have seen. Book it. Check-in was easy and Violetta WhatsApped us in advance. It's on a quiet street, short walk to bars and restaurants. "
