Freundliches Personal, schöne Aussicht, mehr nicht. Die „super“ Bewertungen dieses Hotel kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Das Hotel ist sehr hoch am Hang, zum Hotel führt eine staubige Naturstrasse, zum Teil nicht beleuchtet. Die Anlage ist sehr gross und auf 3-4 Ebenen verteilt, das alles ohne Lift. Die Anlage ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Der Pool war geschlossen und das Leitungswasser „salzig“.

Stayed for two nights in late October 2021, and we were very pleasantly surprised as we knew virtually nothing about the hotel, area and island before we arrived. The hotel is a bit dated and was clearly winding down for the season when we were there (examples: no wine glasses for the room, no ice in the ice machine and no idea how to get ice…), but the staff was extremely friendly and organized and the restaurant was really good. Of course, the view from the hotel and restaurant cannot be beat! We had two great meals there and enjoyed the good variety of choices in the three courses they offer plus dessert all for 25 euros pp— excellent value compared to some of the other restaurants we visited in Rome and Tuscany. The hiking trails out behind the hotel are amazing and the nearby beach is great for families, with a nice sandy bottom and shallow water and fun waves, and nice sun until late in the day.

Mooie ligging, ruime kamers, ruim balkon met prachtig uitzicht! Helaas een zeer stoffig weggetje om bij hotel te komen. Jammer dat er geen koffie/thee voorziening is op de kamer.

Hotel incastonato in un posto magnifico dove il panorama ti coccola ad ogni ora della giornata. Il personale dell'hotel è gentile disponibile e molto simpatico. Lo consiglierei ad occhi chiusi...!!!

Pretty view in a private area

The location is private and relaxing. It is difficult to reach without a car or taxi service. You have a choice of two beaches with a little bit of walking distance and up/ down hill in either case. Both very nice beaches but different feel. The pool is a plus. The hotel is nice but could use a bit of updating in some areas. Wifi only accessible in lobby. Breakfast was good and the wait staff was very polite. The island itself is worth exploring in other locations.

Hotel in ottima posizione per quelli che vogliono visitare tutti i paesi dell Elba. Le condizioni delle camere e bagni non sono eccezionali ma nella norma. Il resto dell' infrastruttura mi piaceva. La camera ed il bagno erano pulitissimi. La colazione era buona e abbondante. Il personale é molto gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo passato una bella settimana e siamo contenti di aver scelto questo Hotel.

very good 3 star hotel

We had stayed nearby last year and love this part of Elba. We'd seen this hotel from the other side of the bay, it has fantastic views from the restaurant over the bay of Capo Sud. We read a couple of old and unfavourable reviews on trip advisor, but we were very pleased with this hotel. It is a bit dated in style and decor, but the rooms are very clean, simply furnished, and open onto small (slightly peculiar) balconies overlooking that view. The restaurant is along several corridors and steps from reception, we enjoyed a simple continental breakfast there and ate dinner there one night, which was a good and reasonably priced meal. it has a lovely pool with bar and sun terrace. The hotel is accessed by a fairly steep, dusty track, and you can use this or a set of steps (5 mins down) to the long beach below. All in all a very lovely spot to stay in, and a good value 3 star hotel.

Albergo molto tranquillo in posizione eccezionale.

L'albergo ha una posizione eccezionale in quanto si affaccia dall'alto su un piccolo golfo. La struttura in sè non è eccezionale. La nostra camera era piccolina, con bagno senza finestra. Tutto sommato da consigliare comunque, se non altro per la posizione e il servizio di colazione su terrazza con vista.
