"Where do I even begin? This house was AMAZING! I booked this house for a little getaway for myself and my classmates and it did not disappoint. The beds were all clean and comfortable, the bathrooms were clean, and the house was insanely cozy. We loved the amenities, from the games to the sauna, everything made our stay so incredible. The host was also so responsive, helpful, and was always there when we reached out for anything. Not to mention, the house is also in a great location! It’s near a bunch of mountains in the area to ski, a great restaurant down the street, and supermarkets not too far. I would most definitely stay here again and looking forward to doing so next year. Would highly recommend staying here! "

"A MUST STAY!!! This was our second visit to Jim Thorpe but our first stay at the Y on Broadway and we will NEVER stay anywhere else!! This boutique hotel is full of charm and warmth from both their magnificent fireplace and staff! Beth took the time to tell me all about the rich history of the building, one of the original YMCA locations in all of the US, and we had the pleasure of meeting Duke, one of the owners, who took me on a private tour to show me the beautifully rustic double bed frames which he built by hand! Each room is exceptionally clean and crisp with meticulous attention to detail (check out the individually unique live edge tables and desks in each room made by a local artisan). The entirety of the Y is packed with all of these small touches which make it a truly unique experience. It is nestled right in the heart of the downtown area with stunning views of Jim Thorpe’s 19th century architecture and of the Poconos which envelop the town. Request the king suite with a balcony spanning the length of the suite which overlooks Broadway!! But don’t forget to ask about the 3rd level basketball court floor still buried beneath the rooms. "It is a wonderful place to stay. We were 8 families with total number of 28 people including kids. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed. We all stayed inside the house 80% of the time and no one got bored of the house and stay in that 3 days. The house is clean, bathrooms are super clean with all linens readly available. Huge living space, enough bedrooms with clean beds and pillows. Clean kitchen, refrigerator, sink, etc. etc. More over the home owner is very nice and very prompt answer our questions immediately.
