Put-ins include the ParkLand Foundation Sweeny Tract and Spark's Bridge or the publicly owned Mackinaw Fish and Wildlife Area or the intersection of the river with Route 150 outside Goodfield. Be cautious of fast currents in the spring and very low water mid summer. But the sweet spot in between is perfect.

"Lots of space, pool was great. The water was really warm, so even little kids were able to enjoy for a while before getting cold. Would recommend bringing water shoes or flip flops because the floor around the pool gets quite cold. We plan on making this an annual trip (celebrating my mom's & brother's birthdays), and looking to book with some friends and their kids in the future as well. "

"good rate,good location. very nice breakfast.. But dont get a weekend room on the first floor...kids ran the halls until very late. impossible to get to sleep until they wore out,,no cufew or time limit i was told...next time 5th floor."
