"Great, friendly/welcoming bar/front of house staff it makes a difference. Room was comfortable with a great shower, fluffy towels and very clean. Sunday lunch and the Thai fish cakes were tasty along with a good English breakfast. Very nice area and some awesome country walks nearby, a definite return when travelling up north. "

The breakfast is delicious and dietary requirements are well researched and catered for which is very much appreciated The bed is comfy with nice full pillows and duvet. Very high quality of service and food at breakfast. When I booked this, I thought it was overpriced. It wasn’t, it was excellent value for money."

"Excellent 10 out of 10. Our 3 day Xmas period stay with our dog was from arrival absolutely superb. All the staff are very pleasant and helpful; the room was warm, comfortably and clean. The food throughout our stay was excellent with a menu to suit everyone and the Xmas lunch was fantastic. This is definitely a place to revisit."
