We chose the Bedruthan for a long weekend get together with our large family. It turned out to be a very enjoyable stay. The kids took surfing lessons and loved the waves. Mum had a massage and facial at the spa. The staff were genuinely friendly and went to great lengths to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. For our 4 nights in Cornwall we stayed at a very quaint Bed and Breakfast in Truro. Centrally located, it was a great place to stay and "wagon wheel" our day trips. From there, relatively speaking (by Texas standards) you can easily drive to many towns, fishing villages, beaches and other sites. We visited, Port Isaac, Tintagel, St Ives, Penzance, Land's End, Porthcurno and Minack Theatre.
