"An amazing hotel was a luckily treasure of a fine that I came across entirely by chance, and definitely somewhere that I shall be staying at again. All the staff are amazing, the food was lovely and my room was incredible (actually got a free upgrade as another guest cancelled at the last minute). If you are visiting Cornwall and fancy a lovely staff, give this hotel a try! Also, they have a bar with an amazing range of rums, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. friendly area at breakfast but wasn’t a problem as it was nice and quiet Only downfall would be that the hotel is very old so the decor is too…worn carpets…broken tiles etc…didn’t cause us a problem but it just a shame that it’s slightly neglected in places! "

"Nice hotel, convenient to beach and to town, rooms can be noisy if not on the beach side (traffic) and if there is a wedding reception (there were 2 in our 3 night stay!) but overall a nice place with a delicious breakfast and a great location near the train station."
