For our 4 nights in Cornwall we stayed at a very quaint Bed and Breakfast in Truro. Centrally located, it was a great place to stay and "wagon wheel" our day trips. From there, relatively speaking (by Texas standards) you can easily drive to many towns, fishing villages, beaches and other sites. We visited, Port Isaac, Tintagel, St Ives, Penzance, Land's End, Porthcurno and Minack Theatre. Clean room with excellent amenities and a good variety offered at breakfast. Our hosts were very helpful in every way possible. This is an English B&B, so don't expect modern / European hotel styles. With that caveat, overall excellent and a pleasantly comfortable bed. The only bit of warning is that while there is a large public parking area 1.5 blocks away with a very good price for an entire week, finding a place can be a challenge. Wonderful 6-day stay in the self-service apartment. Staff is so kind and helpful. Parking lot for hotel guests is large and easy to get in and out of. Hotel is steps away from the area bus stop and the walk down to the St. Michael's Mount causeway. Restaurants and shops nearby all definitely worth visiting (especially the hotel restaurant Cutty Sark and the hotel bar). Would absolutely stay again!
