"We had a fantastic family holiday here in September 2025. Great location on the edge of Praia da Rocha and a short walk from Praia do Vau. We love the family friendly atmosphere and accommodating nature of Portugal which made our trip with a 9 month old easier than we expected.
The hotel is well styled and gives a sense of luxury the moment you step inside. Our room was perfect with plenty of space for a cot bed and playtime. The room was very quiet apart from a little traffic noise which can’t be controlled. Our bathroom had a bath which was ideal for our baby. All parts of the hotel were thoroughly cleaned by the lovely hotel staff.
The hotel pool is small but perfectly adequate for a relaxing dip to cool down, and with the beaches close by, it was never too crowded.
We had a great time and believe the whole experience was great value! Special thanks to Vivian on front desk for being so lovely with our daughter! Would definitely recommend a stay here and we would certainly go back!"

"The property is beautifully landscaped and the pool is the gem of the property. The restaurants had fresh healthy and a variety of delicious options. The cocktail menu and wine selection was excellent. The staff from the room attendance, servers, bartenders and hospitality staff are outstanding which made our stay at Hotel Âncora Park very comfortable and enjoyable. Also, we liked that it is very family friendly with a pool for children and changing tables for families with infants. Highly recommend this hotel and the restaurants. "We absolutely loved Dom Manuel. We were in a guest suite just 2 minutes from the main hotel and it was wonderful. Terrific space, great amenities and super shower. The pool was cool and refreshing, although we only used the one at our building. The main one was gorgeous, too. And the buffet breakfast was sensational and plentiful with so many fresh choices, hot and cold. Dom Manuel was the best place we stayed in, in our 5 week Spain and Portugal trip. Dom was damn fantastic. Obrigato. "
