Honestly I am an avid traveler and Privado Designer Boutique Hotel was one of the best hotels I have had the pleasure of staying at. Maria and every single staff member I came across was super nice, respectful and extremely helpful. On arrival at hey provide me with several coupons for near by restaurants and they were absolutely great places to eat at. Perfect escape

Located in the heart of the city centre, Privado provided you with an escape from the heat, noise and vibrance of the city, allowing you a moment (or night) to re-energize and prepare for more sights and sounds of Cartagena. I would highly recommend this hotel for its location, charm, amenities, and kind and caring staff.

Privado was so cute and safe to stay inside the walled city. It is a must to stay here, it is walkable to everything. The best thing is that the walls are sound proof so you are able to sleep in and any noise or party going on outside you won’t hear. Staff is so sweet and so helpful with restaurants ect around the area. You are a short 5-7 min walk to the clock tour and downtown area. I will be returning back and staying at privado with my family.

We loved staying here. The room was perfect size. Maria was very kind and helped us with all of our questions! All the staff were very welcoming. The location was not in the chaos of the city which made it peaceful to sleep. The pool was small but perfect for a quick dip from the Cartagena heat! We would definitely return!
