"The hotel offers less than expected. As a Resort & Spa it's expected to have Resort's facilities and to be a spa which nothing more than swimming-pool was found. "Beautiful wine resort. Peaceful and very welcoming. Staff were lovely. Fantastic pool and terrace to have lunch/drinks, and the most lovely courtyard for dinner which was delicious. Great wine tasting . Cannot fault this property, unfortunately we only had 1 night there but we were unexpectedly upgraded to a junior suite which was amazing. Highly recommend !! 5*"

"A beautiful historic hotel. We had a suite with an amazing view. This area is off the beaten track. A gorgeous area to base yourself. Gorgeous beaches around area and on your way to San Vito lo Capo. Must see: salt pans in Marsala and Trapani, Trapani salt museum, SAN Vito lo Capo and some of the beaches on the way. Maybe if time some of the belvederes and grottos around as well. Only issue with hotel: this area is not very geared to tourism (good and bad) so no food available during siesta time. Restaurants open at 7:30 pm. We like to eat earlier (Canadian). Hotel does not offer laundry service or have little shops. We were off peak time, so maybe more open during summer. Overall it was an amazing place, highly recommend, just be aware of limited food/shopping options. "
