"The tower was a perfect place for our trip to Tuscany! It had a ton of space with a full kitchen and living room. The town it is located in is fantastic. There is a small grocery store, a pizza place, and a fantastic restaurant where two people can get a delicious meal and drinks for about €30 all within walking distance. " In the middle of literally nowhere (for me) but so peaceful and serene! I love the history of this monastery. I must say as a solo traveler I was a little nervous at first because it’s very remote. I saw maybe 3 cars in the parking lot and two other guests. But it was safe! Checked in and got a restaurant recommendation for Ristorante Conte Matto, ten minutes away in a small town. The food was excellent and my server was very friendly, even walked me out when I left. Definitely worth the visit. I had the room at the end of the building with the ginormous tub. It was clean, very spacious and simply furnished with a very comfortable bed and pillows. Not gonna lie, I did push my couch up against the door since I was alone but I went to sleep that night and had the most peaceful sleep, waking up to the most beautiful sunrise. "
