A truly magical place!

Our stay at Borgo Sant’Ambrogio was heaven! We were welcomed so warmly and made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. The Borgo is absolutely beautiful, super comfortable, and located in the middle of Tuscany with gorgeous views. We were very close to both Pienza and Montepulciano! The on-site restaurant was delicious and creative for dinner, and breakfast was also wonderful! The whole stay was magical! A very special place, not to miss while traveling in the area!

Lovely hotel with amazing views of the valley, conveniently located near to Pienza and Montepulciano. The restaurant was great, offering local foods typical of the area though they are strict about reserving in advance even as a guest. The real standout was the staff, very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Wish we spent more time by the pool and on property as it was perfectly tranquil and scenic.

Property is gorgeous. Surrounding area is spectacular. Reception service was not warm or welcoming at anytime we spoke to them. Breakfast lady’s was amazing. Dinner waiter was not good. We ordered chicken dish it was deep fried & full of bones.terrible.

Serene. Peaceful. Beautiful. Food great. As you are in a relatively remote location they could try to overcharge for dinner, etc., but they don’t. It was reasonable. Highly recommend for a little rest and peace from the crowds of the tourist areas.

Very comfortable beds and spacious room but very basic without amenities. Only have bottled water and instant coffee in the room which in my opinion for the price paid, do not speak well of the hotel.
