"The house was very clean, minimal decor that made the house feel homey. Great communication with the owners/rental group and they were quick to respond if you had a question. Would highly recommend this house if you want to be close to Fredericksburg but away from the hustle and bustle."

"First timers in Fredericksburg and glad we picked this cabin. It’s cozy and has everything you need plus it’s only 12 mins to town. And 15 mins from the horse riding excursion we booked. We loved the back porch for the sunset views and peacefulness. "

"If you're looking for a peaceful, rustic, and a good place to star gaze this is it for sure. Nice place for a weekend getaway/small wedding venue. Breakfast and dinner options on Fridays and Saturdays only but food was excellent when served. There are refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms so not a problem if staying for more than a few days. Bar also open on the weekends only. It's a cat sanctuary (they have about 16 cats on the property, all outdoor cats) so if you're allergic to cats may not be a good place for you. Close to hiking trails if that's your thing. Closest town about a 30–40-minute drive. Overall, we loved the place even though it would benefit from some upkeep. "

"Very fun stay in comfortable camper. Very relaxing. I would have appreciated more lighting in the driveway to find our camper easier. I arrived after dark and it was extremely dark around the property, but when camping that’s usually a good thing. "
