"The hotel is lovely, very attractive main entrance and lobby. Staff were all very helpful and friendly and overall it was very clean in the room and public areas. The spa facilities were really good, we loves the courtyard with the large hot tub. Only small grumbles about the room were the lack of curtains and no decaf coffee, the bed was super comfy and the bathroom was modern and clean. The bistro food and hot drinks are very overpriced for what they are, a salad with a very small amount of topping were £15 and a small cup of coffee was £5. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would go back."

"The place is just a nicley kept pub, with a very good food and drinks menu + some kraft beers, our room was a little small but was clean with tea and coffee making facilities, breakfast was very good and the staff very helpful, yep we would stay there again, but in a larger room."

"I don't really know how to start this review, the service and experience we had at the Manor House Inn was beyond anything I could have expected. They made a special day into something absolutely unforgettable. We stayed at the pub on Monday, and I had booked a room to stay after proposing to my girlfriend. I had asked the hotel before arriving if it would be possible to arrange some sparkling wine to be in the room before arriving, which they said they could help with. When we arrived we were taken to a beautiful room with a bath. I was later told this was a complimentary upgrade and that the sparkling wine was also complimentary and they wouldn't let me pay for it. The generosity to help make our day more special was beyond anything I could have asked for. We had dinner downstairs that night and Jane who had helped with the checking in and helped get us seated for dinner was amazing, even went and got a candle for our table to make it a bit more romantic. Every member of staff went above and beyond and they were all so warm and friendly. Food and drink was incredible, really great quality and tasted amazing. They even brought over a little chocolate tart for us to share with strawberries in a heart shape on top. The bed and room were really comfortable, the bedding and towels were soft and high quality, the bed was huge and comfortable. The coffee in the room was also a highlight, really nice fresh coffee for the french press in the room. Breakfast in the morning was a"

"Eleven of us stayed at Cider Barn for four nights for a special birthday. It is perfect. Spacious, well equipped, impressively furnished, close to the centre, spa in the location and a hearty team that own it. We would go again for sure."

"Really enjoyed our stay here. Delightful quaint hotel with lovely ancient rooms full of character. Owners were very helpful and let us pick up the room keys early since we were attending a local festival. However, we had to ring them to confirm this since no comms whatsoever through the hotel.Com messaging service despite multiple attempts.. Also Hotel.Com stated that a full English breakfast was included in the rate but only continental breakfast was offered by the hotel. This is unacceptable and needs sorting out soonest by Hotel.Com so guests are not misled. However, overall we enjoyed our night at the thatched cottage inn and would stay again."
