"We met up with our German based family in Castleconnell. We were 3 generations (13-80 years old) and each one of us truly hated to say goodbye to Stormont House and the quaint village. Upon our arrival, Frances met us. She is a genteel and gracious person. The house had fresh flowers and a well stocked and artistically arranged bowl of fruit which the 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed. The house is spacious and airy and inviting. We all had room to spread out. Our son-in-law is an avid fisherman and he enjoyed just walking out the door to the River Shannon and doing his meditative fishing. Cos helped him with rods and bait, etc. The views are mesmerizing and the hiking trails are many. We could walk from the house into town in 5 minutes. However, the house itself felt very secluded and private.We would love to come back next Easter which is our annual reunion time with our German family. A truly special time for our family! "
