Nestled in the East Bay hills, this suburban oasis boasts Lake Chabot's scenic trails and tranquil fishing spots. Locals flock to the Saturday farmers' market, while nearby Hayward's Japanese Gardens offer a serene escape.
Overall, I had a very good experience. The receptionist was very friendly and nice. She checked me in quickly. The room was very nice and clean. It was nice and quiet so I got good rest.
Also, since I was on a business trip, I had to leave early (4am) so I did not have the opportunity to eat breakfast before I checked out. It would be nice if there was a bagged breakfast to take for the early risers.

Check in: friendly staff, free popcorn for guests, bowl of apples for the taking
Room: Clean, spacious, amenities in bathroom (shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, hair dryer)
Bed: Comfortable, pillows a little too full and hard for me, but my husband was perfectly happy
Evening: Cookies for guests
Breakfast: Wonderful! Juices, coffee, oatmeal, eggs, potatoes, sausage, biscuits and gravy, pancakes with butter and syrup, muffins, bagels......really a nice perk with the price of the room. I...

I was pleasantly surprised at this motel. The room was different than most motels of the same type, in that it was spacious, and interestingly designed. The ceiling, for instance was A shaped with wood planks. It was very clean, and parking very convenient in front of the door. The location was also very near the Interstate exit. My only complaint was that the breakfast consisted only of coffee and wrapped sweat rolls--no juice, and you had to drive to any eatery near by.

Great value. Very clean & comfortable. Great breakfast. Save a few bucks from the high prices chains, and give this place a shot. You will be pleased, and want to come back.

Exceptional hotel. Primarily, the staff was professional and courteous with personality. Ricky was outstanding at check-in, Giselle was enjoyable at the wine bar, and Kevin was kind at check-out.
The room was quiet and very well designed. Little details in the design were smart and made it super comfortable. Love the blackout shades and the shade in the “window” of the bathroom. Nice to have a foot bar in the shower. There were no plastic bags in the garbages. Loved the floor material. Super...

Their guest service is a 20/10. I called earlier in the week to ask about arriving early and parking. They were gracious and accommodating, saying we could check into our room if it was ready when we arrived. On arrival, the doorman (shamefully I didn’t get his name) was welcoming, friendly and efficient. I had injured my knee a couple of days earlier and was on crutches and he did everything he could to help me. At the front desk, Jared and Dominique were warm, welcoming, professional and...

My stay was fantastic. The only negative thing I experienced was that they removed the US flag from its place of honor at the peak of their hotel in order to fly a pride flag in its place. As a veteran whos friends gave their lives for the US and whos coffins were draped with that flag, this was intolerable. There were plenty other places they could and did fly the pride flag. It should never fly in lieu of the Stars and Stripes.

It was a bare bones facility, which is all we needed, clean and convenient to folks we were visiting, with a great cafe across the street. Staff was very friendly and check-in was easy. An extra blanket would have been nice, as opposed to having to turn up the heat, but we were plenty warm in the cool and rainy weather.
