"We really enjoyed staying here, we had a suite which gave us a small sitting room with a balcony to relax in, it made it feel very roomy. It’s a beautiful apartment, there is a dining room where breakfast is served. Breakfast was fresh bread, packaged pastries, yogurt, cereal and coffee, for Eur 5 it was an easy start to the day. "Casa D’aria is a quaint and lovely place for a vacation set in an ideal location in Catania. The eclectic style of the entire building is so interesting and homey. We had excellent communication with the owners leading up to our check in. The room was massive! With the comfiest bed tucked up on a loft. We made use of the full kitchenette and our room even had a washer to do our laundry. The rooftop communal terrace was a great place to enjoy a bottle of wine and listen to the sounds of Catania....

"Globetrotter has an excellent location surrounded by lovely bars and restaurants. You can easily walk to the main sights, it is right in the centre of town. We were supposed to stay two nights but extended our stay with four as the staff were friendly and helpful and we just loved the location. We got value for money. I'd stay here again."

"The hotel claimed it offers transfers from the airport for surcharges. In reality, when I requested the transfer to the airport, they called a taxi for 22-25 Euros. I also needed a transfer from the airport to the hotel after I have dropped a rental car, and they advised me to take an unfamiliar bus in an unfamiliar city. So, I had to take a taxi again. The conclusion is that this hotel DOES NOT offer the transfer. Also, for those traveling by car: you will be lucky if you find a parking space...

"The room is very nice and spacious. Comfortable bed and very good bathroom facilities. We didn't have the breakfast option so can't comment on that but the host is very considerate so it would probably be good It was lovely to stay in a traditional Sicilian house. 50 steps to the front door so if you aren't physically fit, this might not be for you. Close to the bus station and the train station. Can't comment on parking."
