"If you value good customer service DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. Its a shame as the hotel itself is ok and could be amazing, but some staff (not all, some were as helpful as they could be given the constraints from the hotel management) were unhelpful. We were not allocated the type of room we booked yet when I questioned, one member of staff just argued i was wrong (passive agressive attitude) despite me checking the room types on their own hotel website. I did a check in feedback from hotels.com and was very clear. We asked for extra chairs, and a coffe machine and were told this room doesn't come with this, (in the end we got the coffee machine but they removed the kettle). Ok, but we booked a different type of room! The hotel was full so arguing my point further would have been pointless, but no apology no olive branch just an insistence that I was wrong. So badly handled. I had emailed twice before we arrived at the hotel and received no acknowledgement. Our key broke in the lock while we were there, in fairness this was rectified quickly, our jaccuzzi bath broke, this was not recitified quickly in the end we told them not to bother as we wanted to relax. We were staying 5 nights i expected better.
Breakfast was good for food but again no interaction from the staff, and they started clearing the room very rudely before 10.30 while we were still eating.
What a shame. Such lack of customer care unfortunatley makes you feel uncomfotable which is not what you want on holiday."
