"Spent 3 wonderful nights at this hotel. Service was above and beyond great. Emin, the owner was fantastic and helped us with anything we needed. The hotel is in great condition, very clean and very nice overall. The breakfast was fantastic! The hotel is a very short walk to the center of Urgup. "I can't say enough good things about this hotel, very clean, but still a cave with air conditioning which is rare. The staff are amazing and very friendly who want to make the stay magical. We arranged tours and transfers with them and when a balloon tour was cancelled, they jump through hoops to ensure we got our money's worth with another 2 tours. The breakfast is excellent and fresh more traditional fare so if you are looking for waffles you will be disappointed.
The have a wonderful underground pool and Turkish steam room but didn't use it, but due to a legal issue they have blocked off the entrance, so you have to go outside to the other entrance to use it,
The location is up the hill from the main town area, but Urgup is much quieter then Greome but plenty of excellent restaurant wine Cellers and pottery stalls.
On the downside this is not disabled friendly as there are plenty of stairs, and I do recommend downloading Google translate, as English is not their first language and it just helps.
Oh, interesting fact this hotel is very new on 7 months old and is the setting for a famous Turkish TV show so many people want to stop by to take photos of the courtyard. They never bothered us, and the staff is very respectful to their guests, so they are not disturbed. "

"I stayed in the Feris Cave hotel and can honestly say the service given by a lovely couple was exceptional. The rooms cut out of rock were unique. I booked a hot air balloon flight with Turgut which went very well and he talked me into having a traditional Turkish breakfast (prepared by his wife) every morning which was delicious. There golden retriever was also the sweetest dog to have as company while eating. Lovely views of the surrounding area from the room.Great stay, thank you.

"Solem Cave Suites was above and beyond our expectations. Everyone at the hotel were so kind, helpful, and gracious. The people made our stay unforgettable. Definitely work with them on excursions. They will make sure you get to do what you want very reasonably and easily.
The hotel was immaculate, and felt very luxurious. The area surrounding the hotel is breathtaking, so you can enjoy amazing views during breakfast and dinner.
The breakfast was incredible...so much great food. If I could bottle their fig and walnut jam, I would be in heaven. We had dessert and drinks at the restaurant, and the dessert was extraordinary. The restaurant manager was so kind and generous explaining the hotels history and a bit about the area. It was a great night looking at the rock formations, moon, and enjoying great company.
For location, after seeing Cappadocia, I would say they have one of the best. We wouldn't stay anywhere else. They are situated very close to everything but out of the busiest areas.
