"For some reason this city isn’t given the credit it should get for being a brilliant city destination. It is amazing and one of the most amazing things about it is this hotel. Clean ,spacious and welcoming,this hotel was the single most surprising things about a month in Scotland. I can’t say enough for the staff. The location is central to everything and yet,it’s also quiet."

"very basic rooms, but quite efficient breakfast was okay location good The staff were very friendly and helpful. good for one night stay but multiple nights not so great. no tea and coffee in rooms."

"Nice clean compact room, lovely view onto the street. The only slight issue was the mattress, a little tougher than expected but it wasn't a major issue."

"Hotel is in need of an update. The tv in our room had blown speakers, the hairdryer had a loose connection and only worked when held at a certain angle and the charger for the iPad which controls lights etc was faulty. Only one lift was in operation leading to long waits to get up and down from the room to the hotel lobby"

"Rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The shower was broken in the first room, but the staff were very quick and efficient in sorting out an amicable arrangement. The staff were very friendly."
