"Stayed in Cabana 4 for a week in January, room was excellent, bed was firm and comfortable. Staff on site were excellent and enjoyed the daily breakfast either sitting on the porch or at the tables set up by the pool. Location was great, casual and fun truck stop literally across the street and the always excellent rum dog a couple of minutes away. 2 grocery stores within 5 minutes and a fridge in the room for your drinks. 2nd time in Belize, this is a perfect, quiet, relaxing property with easy...

"Shuttle pick up to and from airport. Fabulous pool, friendly service, great breakfast options, spa services available on site, two on site restaurants, location is only a short 10-20 minutes golf cart ride to most anywhere on the island including San Pedro and Secret Beach. Chelsea at front desk is very helpful and pleasant. Pool bar staff is attentive. Would highly recommend!"
"Our stay at Belizean Shores was wonderful! The staff was attentive and friendly. The grounds were beautifully maintained. We had an upper level pool view condo, which also had an amazing view of the ocean. We had 4 adults in our group, so having the loft was great. We had plenty of space.
Having golf carts available to rent on site was very convenient. The resort is about 3 miles out from San Pedro town center, so golf carts are needed to get around (which adds to the fun).
There is a breakfast spot and lunch/dinner spot directly across from resort- both had delicious food. You can also order food from the pool bar.
This resort is quiet after 9pm, which is nice after a long day of adventuring around the island. We would definitely stay here again!"
"Great location, friendly staff, great pool bar bartenders, especially Phil, Gael and Angelina. We felt very safe at the resort. The resort was pretty quiet which we
liked. It was a close golf cart ride to a lot of bars and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.
"
"All the staff members were awesome—friendly and responsive. A shout-out to Morrin, the property manager. The room was large, and the bed was comfy. We ate a lot of our meals at the on-site restaurant after trying the food at a couple of local restaurants. The food at T.T.'s was delicious and reasonably priced. We live in the Northeast, USA, so that is our comparison. The hotel provides a complimentary boat service to the ferry terminals, which are in the heart of the main part of Caye Calker, and a golf cart service to the Split ferries to get to the main part of the Island. All in all, El Ben Cabanas is a quiet oasis on the northern part of Caye Calker. "
"The room was spotless and like new, the staff was extremely accommodating and friendly, the food was well above par vs other restaurants on the island, pool and beach front are perfect combo shade/sun. Highly recommended Royal kahal. Mr Burt (Bert?), Ms. Marta (Marla?), Mr Brian, Ian, and all the staff really set the place apart!"
"The staff was welcoming and accommodating from the moment we landed and the resort had a great relaxing upscale atmosphere. My husband and I felt appreciated and not like just another rinse and repeat guest. The casitas were spacious and very clean. We would recommend this resort to our friends and would be happy to stay there again. "
"The hostel itself was great! Modern, clean, comfortable and even the shared dorms had some resemblance of privacy. The staff were all absolutely amazing and great to talk to as well, they made me feel right at home. Some of the features that stood out were the restaurant onsite and the roof top pool, both of which were excellent. I would recommend this place to literally everyone and I will definitely be staying here again next time I vacation back to Belize!"
