"Stayed in Cabana 4 for a week in January, room was excellent, bed was firm and comfortable. Staff on site were excellent and enjoyed the daily breakfast either sitting on the porch or at the tables set up by the pool. "All the staff members were awesome—friendly and responsive. A shout-out to Morrin, the property manager. The room was large, and the bed was comfy. We ate a lot of our meals at the on-site restaurant after trying the food at a couple of local restaurants. The food at T.T.'s was delicious and reasonably priced. We live in the Northeast, USA, so that is our comparison. The hotel provides a complimentary boat service to the ferry terminals, which are in the heart of the main part of Caye Calker, and a golf cart service to the Split ferries to get to the main part of the Island. All in all, El Ben Cabanas is a quiet oasis on the northern part of Caye Calker. "
