"Nice hotel in the middle of the village. Beds were great, very quiet at night. Great views and close to restaurants. Recommend the golf cart rental. Staff was very nice. Rooms were clean. Shower pressure was just OK. Highly recommend this property"

"Lovely quiet house overlooking Core Sound and the Banks. Lots of bird life to enjoy. Bring a pair of binoculars to see the dunes across the sound better. Close to Cedar Island beach for walks, floating, and a chance to see the feral cows and wild horses. The Davis ferry over to Core Banks is nearby and Harkers Island is about 20 min away. The house is clean, well furnished and has a washer and dryer as well. Kim and Sam were very responsive to assorted questions that we had. We will be back next year!"

"Some places simply feel like home the moment you arrive, and this was one of them. Our stay in Cedar Island was everything we hoped for and more. The home was beautifully maintained, comfortable, and incredibly welcoming.The screened porch quickly became our favorite place to be. We started our mornings taking in the peaceful water views and ended each evening watching the breathtaking sunsets. It was also just a quick walk to the beach, making it easy to enjoy the coast whenever we wanted. Those quiet moments became some of our favorite memories and reminded us to slow down and appreciate the beauty around us.The host’s kindness and attention to detail made our stay even more special. It’s clear they truly care about creating a wonderful experience for their guests.If you’re looking for a peaceful coastal escape where you can relax, recharge, and enjoy nature at its finest, this is the perfect place. We are so grateful for our time here and already look forward to returning. Thank you for sharing your beautiful little piece of paradise with us.
