"Love the old motel, however, so guests know...you may have to climb three flights of narrow stairs with your luggage. I don't remember seeing that in the description when booking the motel. They also provide you with a coffee maker, no cups, no filters and no coffee. That confused me. It is an old beautiful house with so additions added on."

"We had a great stay at Dad’s Retreat! We rented a golf cart through the Inn, which was so convenient. We went over to the lighthouse everyday since it was so close. The free breakfast was a little disappointing. I usually try to find places with free breakfast to offset the cost of one meal, but it was only a continental breakfast. Luckily our place had a huge kitchen so we just cooked breakfast at home and it was fine. Kind of felt like we got tricked by the “free breakfast” description though. None of the clocks in the house were working, but it kind of just added to our relaxed state of mind—we were definitely on island time the whole trip 😂. We had such a great trip and will definitely be back!"

"We stay at The Lucky Buck twice a year. Ellen and Russ are great people. We have been renting their properties for the last 7 or 8 years. I never try to find any otherlisting. When we leave my husband and I always clean the place so they don't have to as they work other jobs. I love doing that for them and they are always appreciative. You won't find a nicer couple!"

"The homes was perfect for us. We loved our stay. Beautiful setting and loved the dock. Perfect for our boat with low dock. We fished every day! The hosts were great; very accommodating with great hospitality. The home was very clean and enjoyed cooking on gas stove. We will definitely be returning. Looking forward for an extended stay!!!"

"Enjoy the property. Rey close to all the town restaurants and shopping. Very efficient for my stay and clean. Like that there was a TV in both rooms. Coffee maker is a must and toaster. Thank you for a wonderful stay."
