"The reviews are real- this place is perfect and was just what we needed to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We saw more sea turtles than people (20 in 1 trip vs. 1 in 7 days on our beach) and loved sampling the delicious local flavors. We cooked several meals in the house and never felt like we had to make do with kitchen items. I'm already planning a return trip with my girlfriends.Biggest suggestion- learn how to take a good phone picture of the stars. You can see the Milky Way with the naked eye and you will want to remember it!"

"The house is a duplex and there was another young family there at the same time but other than them, this beach is essentially your own private beach. So quiet, secluded and beautiful! We walked and watched turtles and rats the whole time we were there. House was well stocked with things we needed and everything was great! Would highly recommend! "

"This was such an amazing find. My girlfriend and I are not resort people and so we wanted to find a property that both would allow us to feel like we are an apart of the island. This was the perfect spot cozied right next to a very popular beach as well as being away from the resorts. Susan was an amazing host and very kind and easy to communicate with. "Our group of 4 was looking for beach access that wasn't far away, and to get away from it all, and this property accomplished both. I did a decent amount of research on properties and the islands and we got what we were looking for with the Royal Hideaway. If you read through the reviews on this property, you will have a very good idea of what you are getting. The repeat stays from past reviewers is a big factor in why I decided to book this place and after staying once, I would definitely go back. The best part about the property is access to the water. Its about a 2-3 minute walk straight out from the property to get to a beautiful beach that you will most likely have all to yourself. Bambarra beach is about a 20 min walk or 5 min car ride, and is definitely worth checking out, but we ended up spending most of our time at the beach straight out from the property. The access to kayaks and stand up paddle boards through Royal Hideaway was an awesome amenity. The property itself was certainly nice enough for us! It has clearly aged over the years and salt-water has taken its toll but the property is still very nice. If you are looking for 5 stay accommodation, however, this may not be for you. Keep in mind, this is on an island that very few people live on. Minor upgrades or small construction projects would be a big undertaking due to the lack of access to goods and materials. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking and was very pleased with our experience!"
