"We had a great time at this cabin. We got to rest and relax. We loved the fact that it was all wilderness across the water. We saw a couple of bald eagles and I got a crappie.The bed was comfortable. This cabin has everything needed for a good time.OC was very nice. He came over on the 2nd day to see if there was anything we needed. We were fishing, and he gave us some tips as well as some of the history of the the area.Thanks for letting us stay there OC."

"Great find. Beautiful secluded lakefront townhouse. Again, townhouse is directly on the lake with its own boat slip. Older townhouse is right on the lake and the patio is shaded. "We had a great extended-family weekend at the Bayou Lodge located in great area on Lake Martin!! If you bring your own water toys, there is boat launch nearby and the boathouse and dock easily accommodates 2 boats and 2 wave-runners. There is very comfortable outdoor furniture on all the porches and decks and a fire pit for night time S’mores. The kitchen is fully stocked with every utensil or gadget you need for family dinners and other entertaining like our granddaughter’s First Birthday celebration. All the bedrooms are spacious and almost all have private baths. There are so many separate areas for sitting and relaxing that each generation can find their own spot in this house. The hosts were very helpful throughout the planning and check in process and we had no need to contact them during our stay. We would definitely recommend this property for any large group including either a family reunion or corporate weekend retreat."
