We didn't get to swim as it was very windy when we were here so we spent most of the time at Receivers Beach which was only 5 minutes from the house. We would love to come back one day soon."

"We spent just a couple of days in Eleuthera and fell in love. This cottage was a wonderful home base. Clean, comfortable, great AC, kitchen, a quick walk to the shore line that was loaded with conch shells. We rented a car and explored on our own, which I highly recommend as there are so many places to see. The island had a couple of black-outs while we were there, but they didn't last long. If you want pampered resort style travel, try another island. Eleuthera is for adventure and raw...

"Da Villa is a remarkable stay in Eleuthera. The house is very comfortable and clean. The back deck is perfect for lounging, eating, and hanging out. The beach access is to die for and has a wonderful, shaded spot to take a break from the sun. You may not need to leave if you are interested in a quiet, private escape."

"We spent 6 weeks at Ocean Shire and the views from this house are as good as it gets. We snorkeled and dove right in the back yard. The house in my opinion should be offered at a cost of course, with the guest house only because it has things to offer that the Maine house doesn't. It's is small but we would like to return to the house again when we return to Eleuthera."
