Hotel Neo Malioboro by ASTON
3.5 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (442)
"Conveniently located near the shopping street of Malioboro. Hotel is generally well maintained. However the door doesn’t shut completely and I have to ensure that the door is completely shut each time I enter/leave the room. The train and traffic sounds goes on in the middle of the night. I was awoken but fortunately return to sleep quite easily, thanks to the comfortable bed. Will be a problem for light sleepers. "

THE 1O1 Yogyakarta Tugu
4.0 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very Good, (93)
"Stayed for three nights, had an absolutely wonderful time. Highlights were the gorgeous pool (just the right temperature, every other pool we’ve had in Indonesia has been way too hot!), the friendly staff, and the enormous breakfast buffet — if you’re hesitating about paying the extra for the free breakfast, it’s absolutely worth it, and it’s a little different every day. There was some construction going on and we had a city view room which would have looked out onto it, so they were kind...

"The hotel was central and clean. The pool area was nice although we did not get to enjoy it much since we were busy during the day and the pool shut down at 6pm. It would have been nice if the pool stayed open later so we could use it in the evening."

Horaios Malioboro Hotel

"We stayed there for 3 nights and we really enjoyed this hotel. The breakfast buffet was excellent and they provided lunch boxes when we has to wake up early for a sunrise tour. The service is perfect: all employees are smiling, salute you and happy to help you when you need it. The rooms are confortable and clean, just don't expect the same cleanliness as in pricy international hotel groups. It is in a quiet street but not too far from the main train station (about 15 minutes by foot) and the...

Hotel 1001 Malam
3.0 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very Good, (87)
"This hotel is all about the location, which is excellent. The little garden in the middle of the hotel is a nice place to hang out. The rooms themselves are pretty old and worn. For example, the sink tap had to be turned to just the right point for it to not drip. However the bed was comfortable. Even though the description of the hotel said there is a pool, we weren’t really expecting one, given its location. It’s a good thing we didn’t book there because it had a pool because it definitely...
