"The Phoenix Hotel is beautiful and luxurious, with an open, airy feel and Asian art all over the place. The pool is very pleasant and well-used (including by my wife and me), and I also got a nice massage. Our room was nice, with a small deck overlooking the pool--though the hotel grounds are so extensive that it took a while to get there from the entry. "The room on the (slightly-under)ground floor I was put into had windows looking to the parking area, thus basically I couldn't open the curtain most of the time, and regularly had some noise from the cars/people there.
