"Lovely family run place with amazing views over Lake Titicaca. "

"First off there was no stay! The hotel did not have our reservation, as confirmed by Hotels.com, and reserved on 2/1/2024. So, we did not have a place to stay even after the reservation was booked and confirmed by the hotel. We tried on numerous occasions to have the hotel do the right thing and they refused. Now they are also keeping my money $189 for 2 nights. Lesson learned, don't frequent this hotel. We decided to stay in Isla de Sol instead after a last-minute hotel scramble. It was wonderful. So, poor manager, poor management, and outright dishonest and certainly a hotel I would steer clear of. I also can't believe that this is the only time this has happened at this hotel. From a businessman to Luna Del Titikaka Lodge; THIS IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT GUESTS!! Disappointed with the whole Luna Del Titikaka Lodge experience. Douglas Mayger "

"This is a special place, really lovely people take great care to cook delicious meals, keep gardens looking beautiful, and give recommendations on what to do and see. Loved the room too. Be warned you do have to walk uphill a while to get there, was tough for us as we hadn’t acclimated to the elevation. But we’ll worth it!"

"Absolutely perfect hotel, wonderful breakfast, wonderful caring staff. Worth every penny, and it is very reasonably priced. The room was so large and comfortable, I really hated leaving. The bathroom was large and we had hot water on demand. There was a kitchen sink, a little stove and pots/pans and dishes. This was our most pleasant stay in Bolivia with beautiful views. My only regret was not being able to stay longer. We booked a couple of tours with them and they were fantastic and well organized. Do make sure you bring cash and if using USD, the bills have to be crisp, no tears or defects AT ALL."

"This is probably the best hotel in the town, great staff, a beautiful room, well designed to Western standards and a great view of the lake from the third floor. A glass wall in the bathroom afforded a view of the lake from the shower. They also provided us with an oxygen tank to the room for 180 bob which was great. What I didn't like was the shower over bath. The shower head was too close to the wall so I found myself with one leg up on the bath rim to try to get my body under the shower properly. The water was often not hot in the morning. It was explained to me that they couldn't have an elevator because the power supply is unreliable, so if you have trouble with stairs as I do, I suggest you request a first floor room. Although it's a great location near to the lake, there are no cafes, restos or convenience stores close by. A bottle of water is provided on your fist day only. A snack bar at reception would be great. Despite the negatives I have no hesitation giving this hotel a five star rating."
