"We had a great time here. While we were initially disappointed at check in because the indoor pool was closed (part of the reason we booked!) the staff was friendly and kind. The room exceeded our expectations. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the room was clean and the balcony was perfect to give us a little alone time while our kids were sleeping. "Wow old tired building but the management team here does a phenomenal job. Price is very reasonable showers are hot, TVs are new, large and many channels. The bed is comfortable the linens and towels are great and the room is cleaned to the best that an old hotel can be. Fridge is cold. This part is even better than the Fairmont, you walk out your door and there is a coffee shop in the parking lot and you are back in your room in 2 minutes with a hot coffee. Even the hedges are all trimmed. Unbelievable value that you can't appreciate by looking at the building. "

"We had a wonderful welcome at check in, which was quick and simple. Our room was cosy, and the temperature could be adjusted easily. There were a few hairs in the bath and around the bathroom, which were a bit off putting. The rest of the room was clean. The breakfast is great, and we were provided a great selection of food. And the coffee was great! "
