Clean apartment, some initial struggle with the front door key ‘technique’ but the video was helpful, could’ve done with a few more kitchen utensils / oven trays for self catering. "My husband and I stayed two nights at this sweet oasis while we toured the sites of Edinburgh, Stirling Castle and Falkland Palace. Dawn provided nice quality toiletries, a well-stocked kitchen, excellent hot water pressure, and a very comfortable bed. She greeted us warmly and gave excellent recommendations for places to go in town. (There is a fabulous wood fired pizza take-out place called Casanova and several other restaurants. "A quiet apartment but very close to Castle, Grass Market and many of Edinburgh top sites. Shower is a little small but Definitely recommend."

"After a long drive to get there it was lovely to dump the cases and get into the hot tub. The accommodation was better than expected and we both enjoyed our stay there. We were told that the drive was a wee bit tight but other than that, no issues"

"Ideal location with charming village area nearby. Easy walk to local pub and to the water. Flat was spacious and well equipped; but could have used a bit more maintenance and some air freshener (near the sea, so a bit of a damp, musty smell). It was a bit farther from central Edinburg (~40 min) than I had expected; but the quaint village feel of the area was well worth the few extra minutes drive. All in all a nice place to support local sight seeing and day trips."

Hosts (and their dogs) were just lovely and this really enhanced our stay. They made us feel very welcome and we would definitely love to visit again and spend more time there."
