NOTE that the bathroom is on the first floor, with bedrooms on the second. High ceilings, antique furnishings, and high level of detail make for interesting visual appeal. Excellent location with easy access to downtown and UVA campus. A charming home as described. The only note is that the bathroom is downstairs and the bedrooms are upstairs -- just be aware. I would gladly stay here again on a future visit. Many thanks to Scott for an easy stay.

Excellent Walkable Spot in Charlottesville

We stayed over the weekend and it was the perfect spot. Scott was easy to work with and the space was very nice and had great character. We were able to walk to UVA as well as downtown. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed staying at this house. We used it for a family get together and it was perfect. I love cooking and the kitchen was great!! Very nice dining room. The hosts were exceptional! We will be back!

We initially came here to play Dungeons and Dragons (because the table is absolutely beautiful) but we've come back several times since, and it never disappoints! The house is lovely, the location is excellent (a quick Uber ride to local breweries), and Scott is a fabulous host. Love staying here!

Amazing house

We were enchanted by this beautiful house! Our 18-year old daughter remarked that this is the type of house she wants to live in forever. The decor was so charming. Everything we needed in the kitchen was provided (coffee setup, cooking supplies) and the rooms were so comfortable. Excellent location to visit our UVA student. We went for a lovely run in the morning (close to McIntire Park) and enjoyed coffee on the back deck/outdoor space. Amazing stay!
