"Nice stay for the evening. Central location, rooms were clean, many power and USB charge points in the room and staff were friendly and welcoming. Areas to improve: - room cards kept getting de-magnetised. Need to pop down to reception multiple times. - room toilet fixtures should be updated. A bit nitty but tap in my room was positioned pretty awkwardly to use. "

"Clean, nicely decorated room. Very comfortable bed, excellent pillows, good quality floor coverings. Could have done with at least one chair. The building work detracts from the offering but at least that’s not permanent. The filtered water tap is a nice addition, as is the coffee pod machine. Only small downsides: too few towels, no sweeteners, only three hangers. "

"Always had good stay with village before but this time there was problem at check in as I booked through Expedia. Paid through Expedia, and only had to pay for late check out at hotel but they tried to take full stay and the extra payment. They kept saying there was issue as there was insufficient fund in my card but I had already paid for stay. They blamed Expedia for this. Already a bad start to the stay. The rooms itself are good then when it came to the next day, even though we paid for late checkout cleaning staff opened the door while we were sleeping at 11. No knock prior. Overall bad experience this time. "

"The hotel let itself by not having a high chair for our 6 month old baby at breakfast. Breakfast was quite quiet yet they didn’t have more than 2x high chairs in the whole hotel. It meant we had to hold our baby while trying to eat breakfast. Shame, as we were looking forward to a nice breakfast where we could relax. "
