"This property is wonderful if you are looking for a quiet French countryside chateau to stay at. It has blue herons, many cats, a rooster and fish in the pond out in front with a wonderful salt water pool. Definitely recommended. "
"We loved our stay at Château de Nazelles! Everyone was so welcoming and kind (including sweet Poppy!) and the setting cannot be beat. Just tucked away enough to feel like a private oasis but an easy and quick drive into Amboise, which was a perfect home base for exploring the rest of the Loire. Hope to be back soon, especially when the stunning pool is open! "
"The property is one of a kind with its natural caves. Christophe the host along with his dog and cat make you feel welcome upon arrival. The property is truly remarkable albeit slightly humid as it is a natural cave. With a swimming pool surrounded by natural rock and rooms that are one of a kind, it is worth staying at Le Clos de l'Hermitage."

"We had a wonderful time here! We stayed in the family room which was perfect for our family of four. The elevator made it easy to bring our baggage upstairs. We enjoyed eating the continental breakfast on the patio outside each morning and loved relaxing by the pool after exploring during the day. "We had a wonderful stay, relaxing at a central location for sightseeing and cycling. The area was beautiful and quiet and our host even gave us a demonstration of his business of truffling, which was so interesting and a recommendation for wine tasting, which was so good. Wish we had a longer stay, nothing was too much trouble. We will be back. "

"It was a privilege to stay at the clos. The property is a beautifully managed winery and the hosts are very warm and welcoming. They live on the estate and graciously share their knowlege. Our only suggestions would be some fans or dehumidifier for use when it is very hot. While the home stays cool if the doors are closed, it also gets damp since it is stone. Many thanks to Claude and Francine for their hospitality. "

We easily accessed the retreat with a 20-minute drive from the Gare St Pierre des Corps, where we rented a car from Avis. The blooming rose garden and nearby fields of vibrant poppies added to the serene ambiance. "This is a lovely rustic country house on an acreage minutes away from Amboise. The hostess Marie-Josephe is a lovely woman who is very generous with her produce from her garden and fruit trees. Her free range chickens are entertaining and the eggs are delicious! We would recommend staying here if youâre looking for a quiet, out of the way location, yet within minutes to Amboise, the Chateau, restaurants, and vineyards!"

"Excellent place for a family get together. Amboise within walking distance. peaceful grounds of chateau. The pool was so welcome as was the bbq. We would recommend the Château for a comfortable stay in France. "
"We didn't receive entrance instructions until after we were already there waiting. There was also no general instructions for the apartment, we had to dig around to find the Wifi password. It would be helpful to have instructions for the appliances as well... I spent time on the internet looking up the washer to figure out how to work it. It was spacious and comfortable, but given the hot temperatures it would be great to have a fan in the apartment. "
